For the "Altstadtfest" on August 31st and September 1st, numerous visitors came to the city of Brilon. In addition to sales and information booths in the city, on the "Hansemeile" and in the "HanseKids area"  a big range of handicraft work and games invited the people to watch and participate. A special highlight at the town hall was the "Waldfeenbowle" of the Briloner forest fairies as well as the booth of the "Briloner Gewandschneyderey". The Brilon kindergartens and schools impressed with theater, dances and acrobatics as well as medieval games and handicrafts.
