SHAPING THE FUTURE TOGETHER

Shaping the Future Together: The motto of the Hansa Congress 2020 speaks for itself. Inspired by the slogan of the International Hanseatic Day, “Hanse.Heimat.Handgemacht.” (Hansa.Home.Handmade.), we wish to set ourselves apart from customary events of this kind.

Conscious of the fact that we are facing tremendous economic and social changes, we all agree we can only rise to those challenges in a joint attempt to shape the future in a positive way. And what other event could be better suited for a mission of that scope than an International Hanseatic Day which unites people from sixteen European countries? Yet what's the point if people we've never met are explaining things we basically know better anyway? You get it: No point whatsoever.

That is why we wish to discuss together with you the challenges of the future, among them issues such as “Recruiting”, “Innovation”, “Sustainability” and “Digitalisation”, and talk about solutions. Not at random, mind you, but in separate panel groups along the lines of different industries, hence tailored to your specific requirements. Those panels will be hosted by renowned experts who have extensive professional experience in their fields and who will make sure it's all not just idle rhetoric. The day's schedule also contains numerous breaks during which you will have ample opportunity to exchange views with Brilon-based firms from your own line of work, consequently learning about local proposals for tackling the topics mentioned. The day will be rounded off by an exceptional barbecue buffet.

Appreciating each contribution and every exchange, we are looking forward to your visit to Brilon. Together we'll embark on a quest for answers to present-day challenges.

You will find our agenda and more information for all participants here on our homepage.
