3. Data collection practices on our website

Cookies

Internet pages partly use so-called cookies. Cookies do no harm to your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies – small text files which are placed on your computer and stored by your browser – are used to make our offer safer, more user-friendly and more effective.

Most of the cookies used by us – so-called “session cookies” – are deleted automatically after the end of your visit. Other cookies will remain on your device until you delete them. Cookies enable us to recognise your browser when you visit next time.

You can set your browser in such a way that you will be notified about the placing of cookies. This will enable you to permit the placing of cookies in individual cases only, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, or to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are de-activated, the functioning of this website may be limited.

Cookies necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions requested by you (such as the shopping-cart functions), shall be stored on the basis of Section 6 (1f) of DSVGO (General Data Protection Regulation). The website operator has a legal interest in the storage of cookies in order to safeguard a technically fault-free and optimised provision of his services. Insofar as other cookies (for example to analyse your surf behaviour) are stored, these are treated separately in this privacy statement.

Server-Log Files

The page provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server-log files which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of server inquiry
  • IP address

Those data shall not be merged with other data sources.

The data are processed in accordance with Art. 6 (1f) German Data Protection Regulations which permit the processing of data for the fulfilment of contractual purposes or the performance of pre-contractual measures.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via contact form, your data from the inquiry form including the contact data given therein by you shall be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case there are any follow-up questions. We shall not pass those data on without your consent.

Thus, the processing of the data entered into the form is exclusively done in accordance with your consent (Art. 6 [1f] German Data Protection Regulations). You may revoke that consent at any time by sending us an informal message by e-mail. The legitimacy of the data processing activities taking place prior to your revocation shall remain unaffected by that revocation.

The details entered by you into the contact form shall remain with us until you ask us to delete them, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for the data storage ceases to exist (for instance after the processing of your inquiry is completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – shall remain unaffected.
